India mainly is an agro based country where the main source of national income is Agriculture. But due to the so called modern urbanization has swallowed large amounts of fertile lands. Let’s not blame the process of urbanization alone, as we also play an integral part of this degradation of the fertile lands. The people always prefer buying lands at cheap rates away from the city and later sell them up at higher rates when the city starts to develop around it. This land therefore lies barren and unused during this period which rather affects our PCI(per capita income). Are there any steps that can be taken as such to help curb this situation? Yes we can, as an organization or as a single person each and everyone can.
